About Pachis art studio

Where creativity becomes a way of life for those seeking authentic creative expression.

Our Mission

At Pachis, our mission is to inspire you to live a more creative life by providing an intimate sanctuary where authentic self-expression flourishes.

We blend therapeutic arts with Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia philosophies to nurture creativity as essential wellness for children and adults alike.

Our Creative Sanctuary

Pachis outdoor creative sanctuary in San Diego

Pachis art studio exists in the beautiful outdoor space of our San Diego home, where creativity becomes a way of life. This intimate setting allows us to model the intentional, creative living we encourage in all.

The name "Pachis" has its own creative origin — a childhood nickname that beautifully captures our belief that everyone's artistic potential can blossom in the right environment.

Location & Privacy

We're located in the Linda Vista neighborhood of San Diego, just up the hill from Fashion Valley and a short drive from USD and Rady Children's Hospital. To maintain the intimate, secure environment that makes Pachis special, our exact studio address is shared when enrolled.

Why We Value Privacy

Our home-based studio creates a unique atmosphere of comfort and creativity that commercial spaces simply can't match. By maintaining privacy, we ensure:

  • A safe, nurturing environment for children
  • The intimate feel that makes our studio special
  • A personal connection with each person

Accessibility

While we maintain privacy for our physical location, we're committed to making our creative programs accessible:

  • Easy online registration
  • Clear communication
  • Detailed directions provided upon registration
  • Conveniently located within San Diego

Meet Juliana

Founder & Creative Director

As founder of Pachis art studio and a mother of two, I bring my passion for teaching art as a way for children to express themselves, process emotions, and navigate life's challenges through creativity.

Born in San Diego and raised in Tijuana, my multicultural background enriches our studio's approach to creativity and learning. Being fully bilingual in English and Spanish allows me to create an inclusive space where people from diverse backgrounds can connect and create together.

Juliana Flores, founder of Pachis art studio

"I believe creativity is not a luxury—it's essential for mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. At Pachis, we're not just teaching art – we're nurturing creativity as essential wellness for lifelong growth."
